Spotlight on Self-Care πŸ™†πŸΌπŸŒ»βœ¨πŸ™πŸΌ

Rise and shine folks! Welcome to Goals & Good Vibes!! HAPPY SATURDAY!! ✨

“Discipline is a form of self-care. It is all about mastering self-control. You will never always be motivated. You have to learn to be disciplined, so that you can love yourself enough to take action based on your inner voice, regardless of how you feel, or temptations you face.” -Unknown

Have there been times where you felt like doing something or needed to get something done and ruminated on it and couldn’t find the motivation to start? If you’re waiting for this grand gesture of motivation to come along and get you to stop procrastinating, it’s not going to last long term. You have to build it up by adding small habits to your daily life. This will build consistency and trust with yourself. Motivation follows action, not the other way around. Consistency will always outweigh perfection. Sometimes we hold ourselves back because we have to have things just right to start.. Can’t eat healthier because you may believe it’s more expensive to buy healthier options or you think it means you have to never touch junk food again. You might think you can’t start a workout routine because you don’t have room to workout, can’t afford a gym membership, or don’t have any equipment. Those are just a few examples. If eating healthier is a habit you would like to build, you can start by drinking more water and starting small by incorporating more healthier things into your diet and slowly increasing it as time goes on, that way it’s easier to stick to rather than just throwing all your chips away one day and only eating kale and carrots. πŸ˜‚ Discipline is definitely a form of self-care. Sometimes we have to do the things we don’t “feel” like doing for the betterment of ourselves. Don’t start when it’s too late, start now and do your best each day moving forward! ✨
