  2. Mags Win – Retirement is wonderful, it is nice to do what you want when you want. Family, friends, neighbors, animals and nature mean a lot to me. A writer, artist or photographer I am not, but I love reading blog posts. The days, weeks, months and years seem to come and go faster than ever…so I am learning to enjoy every second before it is gone. I am thankful for all the blessings that come my way.     • ali redford – I love dogs and people. I want living creatures to thrive. I love to cook, and share the food, but ya gotta get in line in front of the dog.

      They are, indeed! I was thinking about that this morning while out walking with my doggy, how some days I’d rather stay in and do, well, something that “needs” to be done, but then once we’re out, and he’s collecting the replies to the messages he left the day before, and I see cool things like little flowers in the gravel, or birds out doing their thing, I’m just so glad. It really is the small moment that will become one of the big moments, later in life!

      • Yes Ali! Same here. We go all around for my husbands work and I am always seeing little flowers or something cool while we work . You have to change the way you look at things and take time to notice them it sounds so cliche but it’s hard to be unhappy if you really look around. Doesn’t mean life is all rainbows but perception changes a lot!!
