Fall Self-Care Ideas πŸ‚πŸŒžπŸ¦‹βœ¨πŸ«Ά

Hi there!! Welcome to Goals & Good Vibes! I love love fall and also self-care so I wanted to share a few self-care ideas you could use to incorporate self-care in the small activities of your day, or even make a whole day geared towards self-care! It’s definitely important to add things in your day that are going to help keep you grounded and smiling and feeling good when it’s hard. You have to make it an intentional practice. πŸ¦‹πŸ€—πŸŒ»πŸ«Ά

  1. Moisturize your skin. I tend to get very dry skin when the weather starts getting colder. I find it helps to wear lotion everywhere and moisturizer for my face.
  2. Declutter your space. It’s really important for your mind to have a clear space. It helps your mind stay clear as well. Maybe take a day to catch up on things you’ve been putting off..or do us on one area at a time. Set a timer for 20 minutes and see what you can get done in that time.
  3. Fall crafts. I do the crafts with my toddler.. but it’s fun and easy to do. You just need a few core crafting items or you can get some supplies at the dollar store and come up with tons of ideas. You don’t have to have kids to get crafty..find a cool DIY and recreate it or come up with something of your own.
  4. Wear a big warm sweater. Maybe it’s just me..I’m literally always cold.. but there’s something about lounging around being comfortable. Especially as a stay at home mom.
  5. Go apple picking or flower picking. This year I went apple picking and it was definitely a cool experience and the apples lasted forever. Flower picking I didn’t get the chance to do this year.
  6. Explore the fall foliage πŸ‚. Go for a nature walk and appreciate all the beauty in nature as the seasons change. Find somewhere with a good view of all the different color trees.
  7. Go to the pumpkin patch. Pick a pumpkin and carve and decorate it!!! Or you can paint it!!
  8. Practice a gratitude journal. Around this time of year it seems like more people focus on gratitude.. you could start journaling each day about what you’re grateful for, and there’s most likely something you can be grateful for each day.
  9. Watch the sunset. It’s crazy how fast the sun goes down when it sets… You get a quick glimpse of beauty before it goes all the way down. I think that should be appreciated.
  10. Have your favorite seasonal drink. I suggest either hot chocolate, or apple cider.
  11. Fill your space with fall decor. I like fall decorations so much that I may just keep them up always.
  12. Coloring books, read a book, or puzzle books. Like world searches…
  13. Have seasonal flowers in your space. I mentioned before that I love having plants in the house, but I love flowers too. Especially sunflowers. 🌻
  14. Have fall scents around the house. Can’t go wrong with a fall scented candle.
  15. Warm fuzzy blankets and fuzzy socks. Fall is for fuzzy. But no seriously, the warmer the better.
  16. Bake yummy fall treats. You can use apples from apple picking to make an apple pie. Or you can just buy a premade one like I did. There are so many delicious fall inspired treats you can find online.
  17. Soup season 🍲. I don’t know if chili is considered a soup of sorts but it’s chilli season too.. my favorite soup is potato soup with corn in it. Whatever your favorite soup is, let it cook all day in the crock pot so your house will be filled with the yummy aroma of the soup of your choosing all day.
  18. Have a bonfire. I know s’mores are a common thing to have but when I was younger I used those little clamps for sandwiches and used bread… pepperoni..cheese…and we called them mountain pies. If that’s what their called, I don’t know but they are good.
