Welcome to Goals & Good Vibes! 🧘♀️🙌 I’m a little late with this post..I started it and then I got distracted. But that’s okay because whoever comes across this post in the future doesn’t have to see if just today. Today isn’t the only day you should be stretching. It’s just meant to bring awareness to the benefits of adding it to your daily life.
Anyway it’s midnight now, but December 11th was National Stretching Day! I felt obligated to make a post since I’m a Beachbody coach and also an advocate for Health & Wellness. It’s my goal to help others live a happier and healthier lifestyle. Stretching is a very important part in not only your workouts, but in general really.
I would also like to preface if you’re new to my blog.. I’m not in any way a medical professional, I just like to offer tips and encouragement so you can live your best life by doing things to take care of yourself and see the importance of doing these things.
Benefits of streching daily include:
- Helps increase your range of motion in your joints
- Increases your muscles blood flow
- Decreases the risk of injury
- Improves your posture
- Helps improve mood and focus
- Reduces tension in your muscles.
- Promotes better ciculation
- Helps decrease back pain
- Icreases flexibility
There are probably more…but honestly those are enough benefits for me to want to make it a habit to stretch. I hope this helps!
